Charitable Contribution
A contribution to a non-customer organization, officially created for charitable purposes (i.e., a non-profit organization qualifying for tax-except status under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or foreign equivalent). The contribution may not have any strings attached. It may not be tied, in any way, to past, present, or future prescribing, purchasing, or recommending (including formulary recommendations) of any drug.
Educational Support
Independent activities that have as their primary purpose the education of the attendees in the area of medical or scientific issues and are not promotional activities. These activities primarily include continuing medical education (CME) events or materials.
